Today we went to Les Manguiers in Kampot. On the way there the bus broke down. It was actually a lot of fun, we played football while waiting for the other bus. When we arrived at Les Manguiers we ate lunch and went swimming. This was my favorite part of the day. I was so scared to go in the river at first, but later on, I tried jumping and it was so fun. So I did it over and over again.

That evening we ate dinner, then we went on a boat to see fireflies. They were so beautiful, the fireflies lite up a huge tree. It looked even better than any Christmas tree I’ve ever seen. There were so many fireflies glittering all over.

I am so glad my I told my parents about this trip. Can’t wait for tomorrow!

Today was fantastic, I got to swim in the river for the first time. It’s been an amazing experience; my classmates and I jumped, swam and laughed having a really great time. It was way better than I could have asked for, and then it was time to get ready for dinner. I didn’t want to leave, but I had to.

A phenomenal day – Student 2

Today, was the greatest day ever, our whole grade 6 class went to Kampot. We had so much fun!

First, we took the bus only half way before our bus broke down. Luckily we landed at a gas station. When we arrived at Les Manguiers we ate lunch and changed to go swimming. Swimming was awesome! We held onto a rope and swung into the water. Everyone jump from the dock over and over again. It was great!

Night came, we took a boat over to see the fireflies. It was really awesome seeing their light flickering off and on. We had so much fun and then it was light out!

Today was a fantastic day. When we arrived at Les Manguiers we had a great lunch and we unpacked in our rooms. We got changed for swimming and we had so much fun jumping in the water over and over. We used the rope swing to catapult ourselves into the water. This was my favorite part of the day. After swimming, we dried off and got dressed to go for dinner.

After dinner, we stepped onto a boat and we saw loads of bright fireflies. They sparkled and glistened like diamonds in the rough. This was day 1 of our trip and I can’t wait until tomorrow!
