Inspiring community and building connections
At CIS, we believe that a strong community is built on mutual respect, shared values, and active collaboration, fostering a sense of belonging and collective growth for all its members, including students, parents, staff, and alumni.
We recognize that families have a very important role to play in supporting student learning, and we are committed to developing effective parent-school partnerships. Curriculum nights, meet-the-teacher events, parent-teacher conferences, and learning celebrations provide parents with opportunities to learn more about their children’s education. Parents can also stay apprised of new school initiatives, share feedback, and meet other families at School Council meetings.
Community events encourage us to come together to foster relationships and celebrate student achievements. An array of cultural celebrations, sports tournaments, fine arts showcases, assemblies, and family days are well-attended by the CIS community.
Our community extends beyond our campuses. We partner with organizations such as the CIS Roller Dome and Ice Dome Cambodia. CIS families and staff enjoy these recreational meeting places. We host camps for children across Phnom Penh during school breaks. Many students and staff travel to Siem Reap for the Angkor Wat Marathon each year. These shared experiences bring our community together and create lasting connections.
CIS welcomes you to become a part of our school community!
