Student Life
Maximizing the student experience
At CIS, student life is vibrant and diverse, offering a wide range of experiences that foster personal growth. From dynamic clubs to exciting sports competitions, students have countless opportunities to connect with peers and explore their passions. Our campuses are hubs of activity! We also provide important services to support student well-being and to offer convenience to busy families.
The After-School Activities Program at CIS is always growing! We are proud of our student councils, student ambassadors, and the wide variety of clubs, such as the Model United Nations, Robotics Club, and Eco Club. Over 50 developmental and competitive sports teams are available. In 2025, we hosted our first CISMUN event and the ASAC Senior Basketball Championship. We also enjoyed a national win in the 2025 Robot Rumble!
We strive to provide important services to support students and their busy families. Our lunch service and bus service offer convenience. A dedicated on-campus health services team supports students with medical needs. Uniform purchases are centralized in our school store located next to the Maple Leaf Café. Each year, we host well-attended camps during school breaks. CIS families may access our two well-resourced libraries, with over 33,000 books and resources.
"We moved to CIS from another international school in the city because of the caring and diversified environment. It has been six years and we are very pleased to see our two children developing well academically while enjoying their vast selections of extracurricular activities (friends abroad couldn’t imagine our children can play roller hockey in an indoor roller dome in Cambodia that is fully air-conditioned). Our children would tell us from time to time that they are the happiest boys in the world and it makes us very proud."
