CIS Koh Pich is conveniently located on Diamond Island in central Phnom Penh, where we welcome students from kindergarten to high school (adding Grade 11 in Fall 2021). Collectively, our diverse student body represents over 30 countries. Each year we are adding new grade levels until we reach Grade 12 (Fall 2022) and celebrate our first graduating class in 2023.
We use the internationally respected Canadian Alberta Education curriculum to educate our students, and all of our educators are Alberta certified. In early 2021 we became an authorized IB World school and will be offering our students the option to undertake the challenging IB Diploma in combination with the Alberta High School Diploma from August 2021.

Among many academic programs, CIS is proud to be the only school in Phnom Penh to offer bilingual programs in French and Mandarin. The French Ministry of Education presented us with the LabelFrancEducation distinction for our French bilingual programs. We are one of 91 schools in the world and the only school in Cambodia to receive this recognition.
Like Phnom Penh, CIS is growing rapidly. In the Fall of 2020 we opened our new Middle and High School building on the same campus as our existing Elementary School.
In addition to our current facilities which include science labs, two libraries, visual and performing arts spaces, two outdoor play areas, a gymnasium and outdoor basketball court, our new facilities include a 400-person cafeteria, an air conditioned multi-sports complex, 25 metre covered swimming pool, black box theatre, an updated science lab and a full size natural grass soccer field. Our 10 acre campus is filled with green, open air spaces that encourage student collaboration and creative thinking.
