On Wednesday, June 19th, CIS held its first promotion ceremony in recognition of the advancement of our first Grade 8 students into our first Grade 9 class. Many firsts!
CIS is growing quickly, and we are growing with our students: in 2018-19 we had our first Grade 8 class, in 2019-2020 we are opening Grade 9, and we will continue all the way to 2022-2023 when we will have our first Grade 12 graduating class.
Our Grade 8 students are pioneers, working with the school to set the standard for future students and cement CIS’s place with the top international schools in Phnom Penh.
We are an IBDP candidate school, so these students will have the option of completing the IB Diploma Program, as well as the Alberta Diploma, when they graduate. IB World Schools share a common philosophy – a commitment to high-quality, challenging, international education – that we believe is important for our students.
