On May 12, the CIS community will be coming together to raise money for Empowering Youth of Cambodia (EYC) families who are impacted by the lockdown with a dress down day.

The recent closure of businesses and restrictions on movement in order to control the spread of COVID-19 has left many, already vulnerable families, without basic food items. EYC is accepting donations that will go towards giving families food packages. Valued at $27, one package can feed a family of four for 25 days. Past CIS fundraising events in collaboration with EYC have already provided 70 EYC families with 25 day food parcels, with your help we can raise much more!

Dress Down Day

All students and CIS staff are invited to dress down on May 12 and are encouraged to donate to EYC via the QR code on the picture below.

Students choosing to dress down are encouraged to donate to this website. Proceeds will go towards purchasing food parcels for the EYC community.

Spreading the Word

In addition to the dress down day, the student council will be presenting to Grade 3 – 10 homeroom classes to spread awareness of the collaboration between CIS and EYC.
